My name is Karen and am the interim treasurer of Reform UK Sussex Weald Branch. I am honoured to support our mission to restore common sense, accountability, and integrity to British politics.
My journey began in Rhodesia, (now Zimbabwe) where I was born to English parents who ensured that I obtained my UK citizenship. I worked in the accounts sector after leaving school and started and ran my own successful business for 20 years.
I moved to the UK in2008 with my two children to join my parents and carried on working in the accounts sector. I then changed to a caring and nursing role briefly, working for a private ambulance service
and in the A&E Department at EDGH. I returned to finance in roughly 2013, and I am now working as a finance officer for a company in Uckfield.
I live in Hailsham, Sussex Weald with my partner Rob.
I joined Reform UK because I believe in their ideals and policies, and desire to be part of the movement that helps to build a sensible future where government serves its people effectively, putting British people first and common sense policies.
